From 22nd to 24th of May, we took part in the Infoagro Exhibition 2019, the reference event for the fruit and vegetable sector in the province of Almería, which attracts more than 30,000 visitors and the most important companies in the sector.
This year we commemorate our 20th anniversary in our booth where we have presented our special 20th anniversary logo with which we celebrated our career as the first organic production company in the Níjar region. Bio Sol Portocarrero has about 260 hectares, of about 30 members, who are located in different areas of southeast Spain, such as Motril (where cherry tomatoes and cucumbers are made), Baza (cherry), Ciudad Real (watermelon) , the district of Níjar or the Poniente almeriense, where the rest of vegetables are produced such as peppers, cucumbers, aubergines and zucchini.
After 20 years there are about 260 employees working in the different departments of which Bio Sol Portocarrero is composed: Development, Logistics, Administration and Finance, Labor, Marketing, Marketing, Agricultural Technicians, Quality or heads of agricultural production. One of the most outstanding aspects of our company is its continuous commitment to the training of our employees.
For 20 years we have been committed to organic farming, protecting the environment and sustainable economy and we look to the future in this same line, opening new markets and betting on new products from our line of organic Bioterráneo products whose novelties we have presented in the fair.
Infoagro Exhibition celebrates its third edition as the global intensive production fair, since Bio Sol Portocarrero we have supported this event participating in all its editions, in this edition we look forward to our partners, suppliers, customers and friends to celebrate our 20th anniversary .
We continue working to demonstrate that a different model of agriculture is possible.
